- How do I turn a 2D video into giant-screen 3D?
- Open any 2D video's preview and choose "AI 3D" (real-time 3D in a window) or "Immersive 3D" (hides your room and floats a 100%–500% curved wraparound 3D cinema screen). To try it first, tap "2D Video" under "Try the Samples" on the home screen. Without Hoho Pro, built-in samples play in full for free, and your own videos play in full in 2D for free with a 2-minute free 3D / AI 3D preview per video.
- How do I adjust AI 3D depth strength and screen brightness?
- In the immersive control bar or Settings, you can switch between 3 AI 3D depth presets (Gentle / Standard / Deep) and adjust immersive screen brightness from 40% to 100% in real time.
- Which video, audio, and subtitle formats are supported?
- Supports MP4, MOV, MKV, M4V, WMV (unencrypted), AVI, TS, M2TS, and WebM containers; HEVC (8/10-bit), MV-HEVC, H.264 (including interlaced and >4K), VP9, AV1, WMV1/2/3, and VC-1 video; and AAC, AC-3, E-AC-3, FLAC, ALAC, Opus, MP3, WMA, and PCM audio. For 3D & VR: Full/Half Side-by-Side (SBS) and Over-Under (TB) 3D, 180° VR180, 360° panoramic video, Apple Spatial Video, and Apple Immersive Video (AIVU). Subtitles support embedded MKV text tracks (SRT / ASS / SSA / WebVTT), embedded MP4/MOV tracks, and automatic external subtitle matching (including
Subs/ folders).
- How do I connect my NAS, Emby, or Jellyfin server?
- On the home screen, tap "Network", then "Add Server" to connect via SMB, WebDAV, Emby, or Jellyfin. To scan your local network automatically, tap More (…) and choose "Find Network Servers". WebDAV (HTTPS) downloads continue in the background even after you take off your Vision Pro.
- The app asks for Local Network access?
- Hoho 3D needs Local Network permission to discover and stream from your NAS or home media server. Open system Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network, and turn on Hoho 3D.
- How do I watch while lying down without accidental panel pop-ups?
- When playback starts while looking upward past 35°, the screen automatically aligns to your ceiling gaze, and sitting vs. reclined height offsets are saved independently. Tapping "Reset View" recenters the screen to your gaze while keeping your 100%–500% zoom. To prevent slight hand movements from waking the UI, enable "Double-tap to show controls" in the immersive bar or Settings.
- High-bitrate 8K NAS videos stutter?
- 6K and 8K high-bitrate streams require fast local Wi-Fi. Connect Vision Pro to 5 GHz or 6 GHz Wi-Fi and wire your NAS to the router via Ethernet.
- How do I cancel or restore a purchase?
- The annual subscription includes a 3-day free trial and can be canceled anytime in your Apple Account subscription settings (cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid being charged). On a new device or after reinstalling, go to Settings > Hoho Pro > Plans and purchases and tap "Restore purchases".
- How do I send a diagnostic file?
- In the app, go to Settings > Diagnostics, tap "Prepare diagnostic export", then "Share diagnostic file" and email it to the address above. The file leaves your device only when you share it; see the Privacy Policy for details.
